"This place was perfect for our group of 8! Everything you need is in this cabin! The toaster oven is even a Breville brand! Also, there’s no point in leaving because the views are absolutely amazing & the hot tub while watching the sunset is very relaxing! My husband brought his Sky Light Projector, which looked really cool on the ceiling of the dome at night time! I would book with this company again because of how clean & attention to detail everything was! "

"Had a great time very nice owners, views were great! it was right next to the side of the mountian so you could see for miles. Very spacious living area and nice big kitchen.
Rooms were just fine for sleeping and beds were comfy.

Lots of stairs to go up but it's worth it.
Tub tub views were really quite nice also and Great for sunsets

In the sun there's cool lizards all over the back rock area that like to check you out also. Large squirrels and many birds in the area as well.

hiking trials are super close and numerous. many within 5-10min drive.

The town is so cool def spots to check out is the many eatery's, the brewpub, the vintage Store on the second level main town and the winery's "

"My friends and I celebrated my 31st birthday at The Dome during the first weekend of December. We couldn't have asked for a better retreat where we could cozy up and play games, use the hottub, and take in some much needed r&r. To say this cabin was the definition of relaxation would be an understatement. It also had everything we needed to cook our meals and make ourselves at home. We all agreed we will make an annual trip up to Idyllwild and wouldn't think of staying elsewhere. "

"We've been meaning to stay here for years and finally went: saw a deer in the yard, nice of them to have binoculars and a telescope, if you expect to use a hot tub make sure to ask about it when you reserve. Ultimately check-in was very smooth and easy, but as an old-school paper person (who procrastinates) the request for a copy of ID before arrival was worrying. Everyone was pleasant and responsive during our stay (we got some help sorting out TV remotes)."

"We spent 3 nights in this wonderful property with our family and my brother's family (9 people plus a dog). We had a truelly lovely time. It is a great space in a wonderful location, very well equipped and with stunning views. Our only disappointment was that the cold tub was not working, and as we were there when it was very hot, we were looking forward to using it... it would also be good to have some sort of air conditioning option upstairs, as the heat gets trapped and is hard to cool down. Thanks very much for our wonderful stay."

"Reserved the Dome for a three day weekend in November 2018. We had 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs in total. The place was perfect for our size group and we enjoyed our time in Idyllwild. The home had beautiful views, space for everyone, a wonderful kitchen and great outdoor space. On the last night, the kiddos and I enjoyed the hot tub staring at the stars! Loved it."

"First of all we picked this place because two of my friends has both been there last year, and when i got there, i really understand why they recommended this place:
1. Super privacy with breathtaking views.
2. Outdoor Jacuzzi with stars allover the sky.
3. Outdoor BBQ with big patio.
4. Huge Private parking lot.
5. Comfortable rooms with bright natural sunlight.

There are more and more to talk about this place as it truly make us feel like a GETAWAY trip. We will for sure be back soon!"

"We really enjoyed staying at the Dome property. It was really beautiful and comfortable. We felt they paid attention to the the things that matter in a rental. Temperature, good towels, soft sheets, kitchen stocked, good wifi, nice tv, easy check in ans check out. The driveway is a little scary and would be impossible in ice conditions for me to manage but the property was really great."

"I was a first hesitant to reserve the home after reading the previous review. However after speaking with the staff at New Spirit they were very reassuring and answered any all of my questions. They immediately let me know that the cold tub in the listing was being refinished (which makes sense as it is winter time and I am not sure who would want to get in 45 degree water). Once we arrived to the home the house was not up to my cleaning standards (I am very picky I guess you can say Im a bit OCD. So do not take this as the home was dirty as it was cleaner than most vacation homes I have stayed in), but I did express my concern to New Spirit and within minutes they sent over members of their housekeeping staff.

Monica & New Spirit Staff were very helpful and could tell you anything and everything about the home in detail, they also gave us some literature to read during out stay (brochure for their company, map of Idyllwild, and a directory for Idyllwild- this did help very much)

I would definitely recommend this property to family and friend. Me and my husband have already planned our next visit to "The Dome"

"Great time during stay. We had a child almost fall from the upper deck due to the deck rails not being screwed in. Luckily someone was there to grab her but several rails were loose and would fall with a nudge. Everything was great at the property besides that scare. "

"Idyllwild is a hidden treasure and staying at the dome was the absolutely perfect accommodation for friends and I celebrating my fiancés birthday! The view from every window was breathe-taking! Especially watching the sunset in the jacuzzi. The location was secluded but still close to downtown. The entire home was decorated for Christmas, a sweet touch to a the impeccable unique home. The house was incredibly clean with heaps of linens. The rental company did an excellent job to make sure we were well taken care of. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at the dome. Fit 8 of us perfectly and everyone had their own bed! Beautiful views and we got lucky with the first snow! Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils for 8. Loved the views from the living room and all the decks! We lost power to two rooms due to moving the heaters and they were prompt to help us fix the issue! We look forward to staying here again! "
