For looks, only - Clean, but uncomfortable....

"This is a very cute little cabin that looks exactly like its pictures. It's very clean and very well kept. Just as you see in the pictures, what you can't see in the pictures is how incredibly uncomfortable all of the furniture, and the bed are in this cabin, this makes for a really terrible experience. The couch is as hard as a 2. By 4, the little purple chair while being very cute is so uncomfortable and has no back support. Watching a TV program or movie or even relaxing in it is really not possible. The bed is a whole nother story, all by itself.Tthe bed has been slept in about 500 or 600 times to many and should have been replaced a while ago. The mattress is very lumpy, squishy and uncomfortable and made for a terrible night's sleep. Whilewe rented the property for 3 nights, we checked in at 4 PM on Thursday and we checked out at 8am gone by 8 AM on Friday morning. What a terrible experience we had. With all the fees that they added to the experienc, the trip cost me well over $1000, It's supposed to be a $147 a night.

The fireplace in the cabin is a story by itself. As well, just like the bedroom has major issues. The fireplace does not have a good draft system and the cabin fills with smoke. As soon as you try and start a fire, even though we follow all the proper rules for opening a damper and making it warm, providing draft. The fireplace is too large for the cabin and fills it with smoke. Despite only being there for 12 hours, everything that we brought with is reeked of smoke as if we'd been in a fire."

"Great little place for a long weekend with the dog. We loved the musical instruments, the records, the updated kitchen, comfortable bed, and of course all the purple! The fenced in back yard was a nice perk."

Not great, smells like smoke and kind of dirty.

"The first thing we noticed was there’s no curtains over the front or back doors which are full glass and you can straight inside. It was a little anxiety inducing thinking someone could be looking inside with nothing to block the view. Also we noticed a strong smoke smell every time we stepped inside. Like a campfire, not tobacco or cannabis. We had to wash all our clothes because everything smelled like a campfire when we got home. Also, a few of the blankets and comforters, in addition to smelling like smoke, smelled like a wet dog. I don’t know if they were washed but they seemed so smelly and dirty we just put them on the floor in a corner.

There were some good things. It’s dog friendly and the fenced in backyard was a huge plus. Our puppy LOVED having space to explore the environment. Speaking of the backyard, there’s a cool hangout spot with some high top tables and chairs. It was a little dirty and needed to be wiped down but it wasn’t a big deal. The record player and records were a big plus. Great selection, of course we played Purple Rain, with a decent speaker set up. Kitchen has all utensils, pots, and pans you would need. The location is decent if you’re looking for a secluded spot close to the town.

All things considered, my wife would not stay here again because the smoke smell was just too much. That and the doors lacking curtains, which is such an easy fix. But that smoke smell might be permanent."

Peaceful Stay in Nature

"We loved this cozy cabin. The location is very close to town and the neighborhood was perfect for an evening stroll. We enjoyed eating dinner in the backyard, laying in the hammock and dancing around to the Prince (and other) albums. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for preparing meals. We played Rummikub game on the huge dining table, neither of us had played before it’s fun, check it out. The bedroom had plenty of room to spread out our suitcases. I slept very comfortably. Overall a very peaceful stay! Loved listening to the birds! "
